Birch Plywood

Birch Plywood is made of 1.4mm thick birch veneers assembled by cross-bonding. It is glued under pressure with either melamine urea MR glue or phenol-formaldehyde WBP glue.

This plywood is primarily made from European birch (Betula spp.), valued for its fine-grained timber. The trees are usually harvested from sustainably managed forests, where replanting and responsible forestry practices are enforced to maintain ecological balance.

The veneers are peeled from mature Baltic birch wood logs, then carefully dried and graded to ensure minimal defects. Choosing sourced plywood from certified suppliers (like Riga Wood) also supports responsible forestry and environmental standards.

We supply plywood sheets with standard thicknesses including 6,5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, and 18mm, suitable for a wide range of applications.
